equipment preservation. Papers may cover varying aspects, including development, research
and applications in field locations. CORROSION MANAGEMENT Session Leader: Dr. Sami Al-Ghamdi, E-mail: sami.ghamdi.4@aramco.com
This session will look at how corrosion management systems, strategies, methods, and best
practices impact the overall safety and reliability in operating facilities. This includes looking at
integrity operating windows, risk management, inspection prioritization, root cause analysis,
recommendations' tracking and economic performance. CORROSION RESEARCH AND MODELING Session Leader: Dr. Hameed Al-Badairy, E-mail: hameed.badairy@aramco.com
This session will focus on research topics that are related to corrosion mechanisms and corrosion
control. In addition, corrosion modeling and simulation techniques that would eventually lead to
solving field corrosion problems and offer better understanding of the corrosion process will be
addressed in this session. MATERIALS SELECTION, FAILURE ANALYSIS AND WELDING
Session Leader: Dr. Abdelmounam Sherik and Mr. Ehab El Saadawy,
E-maisl: abdelmounam.sherik@aramco.com and ehab.elsaadawy@aramco.com
This session will address materials selection and performance in water, oil and gas applications,
upstream and downstream. In addition, failure analysis cases together with corrosion
prevention/mitigation measures shall be discussed. Welding fabrication/ repairs associated with
material/component performance shall also be presented. Finally, experiences related to the
testing and usage of advanced materials and new technologies shall also be shared. NONMETALLIC MATERIALS Session Leader: Mr. Vincenzo Savino, E-mail: savinovx@gmail.com
